Well it's a new year and all, i wanted to really relax and play games and paint after Christmas, but i got sick, and didn't really want to do anything.
I'm getting much better, and hoped to make something before i start work again, and so i started on some Avatar fan art, but i don't think I'll be able to finish it before i start working again. It's bigger then my regular stuff not what I'm used to do, but i guess thats what i should be doing from now on. Push those boundaries a little. When i start work again I'm going to make this huge ass pencil drawing, I'm sure it'll take allot of time to finish, which is why i'll probably end up working on it day and night until i finish, because i don't like having things hanging over me that needs to be done.
I've been wanting to learn the 3d stuff for a loooong time... Even before i got caught up with kfm and started drawing. Someone told me a while back that my abilities with light and shades and such should be used with modeling. I don't know why, but i thought the guy sounded like he knew what he was talking about. So when i saw Avatar around two weeks back, i was really inspired again for this 3d modeling stuff at least, and tried zbrush since that looked very simple, and maan... I don't think I've had as much fun like that ever! ever ever! ever. I only sculpted two of my characters faces. Then i started on the details like in Zethymirs hair and skin, and Diz's skin as well... Ohhhh it's so fun! =3 IT'S FRIGGIN FUN!!
Have no idea how to texture it though. Lighting and all that, zero zip knowledge. *snort* I want to learn this stuff. But there are so many programs i have no idea which to try. As for learning, i guess i could head to gnomon workshop they have stuff about it.
I went to look at how much maya cost, and i saw it cost around 3000$ and i was like DDDDDDD= but that was a "pro" package. I want a pro package!
