Diz

"Diz was born into a low ranked bond (bond = "married couple"). But he was borne with the crone (The stuff on his forehead) something which only appears in samal blood (royal blood)
This caused allot of ruckus, people were thinking the mother had secretly bonded with a samal. But no, his father was the true father. But Diz was taken away from his parents to be raised with the samal.

The muluurs are serially monogamous, though allot of them stay together until death. (Tho the markings can easily be changed.) Those usually get several kids over several years. The bond happens when they eh... make love n all that.

Muluurs are highly spirited people, even though they have a ranking system. It doesn't mean a lower rank can't bond with a higher one, and people can elevate in rank in other ways then bonding. However the samal usually refrain from this to keep the crone going.

Rank is separated into two, blood and action. Meaning someone with "pure" crone blood is highly ranked, the the more defiled it is the lower the rank. The second type is for those who are not Samal. Actions like bonding, or any form of "heroics charity strength intelligence" stuff like that can help people gain rank, it determines what you can study and work with, where you can live and so on. It is rare that you'll find bonding between different ranks.

Diz however bonded with a female of the same rank as he was borne into. To the dismay of the samal guardians. However it was later reviled that Mul was infertile, so in general she would be "doomed" to a life without a partner. When bonded muluurs always end up pregnant, meaning after their first time the oven is cooking. And since they are serially monogamous they will stay together until their children can live on their own. It's a crime to bond with someone else while in a bond. So a bond only counts when they end up with children.
But Diz was too much in love of course..."



I first painted Mul blue, but i decided that red was better, which is why his markings are red now.
The tube like thing around his neck is a bio engineered "breathing" system so they can breath in other habitats then their own.
